Terms and Condition
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Bid-a-Machine platform operated by YES Machinery. By placing a bid, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
- 1. Nature of the Platform
- Bid-a-Machine operates on a gentleman’s agreement, built on mutual trust, transparency, and fair participation.
- 2. Eligible Machines
- Bidding is applicable only on machines clearly marked with “I am on Bid” stickers or tags.
- Only selected machines identified by YES Machinery are eligible for bidding.
- 3. Participation & Fees
- There is no registration fee, participation fee, or deposit required to take part in the bidding process.
- 4. Pricing & Bid Structure
- The original unit price of each machine (in AED) and the available quantity will be clearly displayed.
- Each bid starts from a minimum bidding amount, which represents the lowest acceptable bid for that machine.
- All bids must be placed above the minimum bidding amount.
- 5. Bid Notifications
- If your bid is surpassed by another bidder, you will be notified via email and WhatsApp, provided these contact details have been submitted.
- 6. Bid Duration (YES Open House 2026)
- Bidding opens at the start of business hours on Day 1 of the YES Open House (5th February 2026).
- Bidding closes at 6:00 PM on the final day of the Open House (7th February 2026).
- 7. Winning the Bid
- The highest valid bid at the close of the bidding period will be declared the winning bid.
- The winning bidder will be officially notified by YES Machinery.
- 8. Payment Terms
- YES Machinery will issue an invoice for the winning bid amount.
- The invoice must be settled within 5 (five) days from the invoice date.
- Payment must be made via bank transfer or cheque.
- 9. Failure to Pay
- If the winning bidder fails to settle the invoice within 5 days, the winning bid will be deemed void.
- In such cases, the second-highest bid will be considered as the new winning bid, subject to YES Machinery’s confirmation.
- 10. Pricing Basis
- All bid prices are treated as the delivered cost within the UAE.
- There are no additional charges beyond the winning bid price.
- For deliveries outside of UAE, actual charges for delivery will apply.
- 11. Warranty & Service
- All machines sold through Bid-a-Machine carry a 6-month warranty.
- YES Machinery will provide free service support during the warranty period.
- After the warranty period, service will be provided at standard service charges.
- 12. Final Authority
- YES Machinery reserves the right to interpret, amend, or withdraw any bid, listing, or term at its sole discretion, in the interest of fairness and transparency.
